My journey to East Borneo is paid off!!
I was called by my lecturer last week, he was offering a project. I said yes cause I thought the project will be in Jakarta.
But then he said, the project is in East Borneo, Balikpapan, in a mining area. To be honest, I don't really like travelling. Especially in a forest LOL. Well, since I can't let him down. So I said, yes. I'll give it a try. Besides it's only for three days.
So on Thursday evening, I flew to Balikpapan, had overnight in one of hotel there. The next morning we should fly to Bumbun using helicopter.
But when we got there, it turned out that the helicopter still in maintainance. Hell No!! I want to fly!!
So, our works got delayed and we will extended our stay until Sunday (My flight back to Jakarta supposed to be on Saturday).
I spent the rest of friday lazily in my hotel room alone *poor me*
Saturday came, still there was no information about can we fly that day or not from the operational staff until noon. Precisely 12 o'clock, I got news that we can't fly today too cause the maintainance still hasn't finished yet T__T
And we're told not to extend it to Sunday cause there is no guarantee that the maintainance will finish in time on Sunday. So we headed back to Jakarta that evening.

Practically, it was a being paid-holiday. XD
We got full pay eventhough we're not doing anything, just ate and slept in hotel. LOL

And so I bought my new 1TB HD with it!!!
I'm so happy, cause I've been saving all this while for it. *Though I can't seem to save any*
Now I can download anything I want, I have so many space left now.. hohoho

This field job is so fun, I want to do it again if I had a chance. Really, it's so much fun than just working in office.
